Björk.Eklund Group has completed the acquisition of AS Fellestransport


Björk.Eklund continues to expand within freight forwarding in the Scandinavian countries and has, effective 12 July, taken over 100% of the shares in the privately-owned Norwegian company AS Fellestransport.

Established in 1954, AS Fellestransport's traditional market is within the air freight sector. Its management now believes the time is right to step up a level by joining a larger organsiation so that it might continue developing and expanding its sea and air freight activities. The Fellestransport name will continue and its activities will still be run with the same people and products as before.

Björk.Eklund Group AB is a Scandinavian transport and logistic group with approx. 200 employees and SEK1.2 Milliards in turnover (2005). In Oslo, the group has business within freight forwarding and shipping agency with companies like GreenCarrier, Greenship and Scandinavian Shipping Agencies.
